ENTREPRENEURIAL SKILL DEVELOPMENT IN CHILDREN

Today’s world is emerging with new startups almost every day and they play a significant role in the economic development of a country. A percentage of the total entrepreneurs in this world are kids. In actual fact, kid entrepreneurs have significantly given the world incredible inventions like earmuffs, popsicles, trampolines, the Braille script, DC comic character- Superman, and much more. To understand more let us know what exactly do the terms, entrepreneurship, and entrepreneur, mean.

Entrepreneurship is the process of learning the know-how of starting a business and the person who carries all these responsibilities taking on financial risk in the hope of profit is called an Entrepreneur. The main question is why is it essential for a youngster to develop entrepreneurial skills? The ability to develop skills and become an entrepreneur is not just about running a business but improving oneself to become a jack in all trades, one will be knowledgeable in all spheres, straight from setting a goal, to managing finances, teamwork and leadership, risk-taking, dealing with clients, handling failure and rejection, being practical and the list goes on and on. It turns all your child's curiosity about how to run a business into giving them a chance and freedom to express their creativity and to be innovative. This teaches them to discover existing problems and gaps in society and turn them into an opportunity,  by lending an innovative solution to the world that can help generate a fortune.

Inculcating the skills and qualities of an entrepreneur in your child from an early age will prepare them for the future ahead of time and no matter which path one chooses to go on in life, they'll eternally benefit and be an added advantage in life. If a child is passionate and determined about their dream to start up and become someone in their life, parents must always encourage them to explore new things and figure out on their own and instruct the kids to always carry an attitude of never giving up on their dreams.
